Processed Material - PCM

Most of the materials we currently have in our portfolio are processed materials - PCM. Materials from this category are purchased reference material powders, which we process using our innovative technology. During the process, the powder is subjected to our own material-specific milling protocol and pressed into pellets without any binders using a programmable hydraulic press. All information about the data and the original manufacturer can be found in the respective product information sheet.

Recharacterized Material - RCM

Recharacterized materials - RCM - either undergo the same process as processed materials, with the difference that we add an analytical step in which the nano-powders are analyzed in competent laboratories using various methods, or they correspond to certified reference materials where the uncertainties are not exactly transferable to the current batch or selected method. Information on the results and the procedure can also be found in the product information sheets.

Certified Reference Material - CRM

The third category identifies the certified reference materials – CRM. This tag is only given to products that are produced by us in accordance with the standard ISO 17034, meaning the nano-pellets are tested for homogeneity and stability, and the nano-powder is characterized in competent laboratories. In contrast to the basic properties of a simple reference material, the requirements for a certified reference material are more stringent, this is made clear by the definition of ISO.

No classification - Pressed Pellet

For pressed pellets, the original material is used. This means that no further processing of the powder takes place.

Shipping & Delivery

We ship our products worldwide but we can not ship to private adresses. By default we ship with UPS Express Saver. The delivery time is usually 2 - 4 weeks, if it is a custom order it may be longer. For an average order the shipping costs are between 25 € in Germany and depending on the destination country up to 125 € (to e.g. Australia). For larger and time sensitive orders the costs can be higher.

Import duties & taxes

When shipping internationally, import duties and taxes are usually charged to the respective country. The customer or importer is responsible for these duties. You can get more detailed information about these duties at your local customs office.
